The Centrepiece of Your Home, Built by Masons

Our masonry division, J&J Masonry, has built hundreds of fireplaces across Southwestern Ontario. You can browse more of them on J&J's own site, stonefireplace.ca. Because the masons and carpenters work for the same company, the stone, the mantel, the built-ins and the TV wiring are all planned together and finished in one visit instead of four.

How the project runs

We look at the room, the existing structure and the venting, then quote the job in writing. Most refacing projects take a few days; new masonry fireplaces are scheduled with the rest of your renovation.

Why homeowners choose JKF

Red Seal masons lay every stone. Our carpenters build the mantel and any surrounding cabinetry, and our smart home division can hide the TV and speaker wiring before the stone goes on. Want to see more? Our fireplace portfolio lives at stonefireplace.ca.

Who runs your project

Meet the Person Running Your Project

Jesse was born into the trades. He worked for his father's company, J&J Masonry, from a young age, completed a Red Seal masonry apprenticeship and spent years on the tools as a stone mason before taking ownership when his father retired. Over the next decade he built the team that is now JKF Custom Construction, bringing Arrow Hardwood & Laminates and Decked Out Carpentry into the company. He leads a hand-picked team of tradespeople who treat every project like their own home.
